Privacy Policy — Ludo Champs
Last updated: 31 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ludo Champs handles
information when you use it. Ludo Champs is developed and published by
AB+Group+Apps. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at
abgroupapps@gmail.com.
This document is written to satisfy Google Play's Developer
Program Policies for apps that show ads and request device permissions. Host
this file (or its contents) at a publicly reachable URL and enter that URL in
Play Console → App content → Privacy policy. A copy of this same policy also
ships inside the app itself (Settings → Privacy Policy), reachable without an
internet connection.
1. Summary
Ludo Champs is an **offline, local pass-and-play board
game**. It does not require an account, does not have a server, and does
not store any of your gameplay data outside your own device. The only
outside party involved at all is **Google AdMob**, which serves the
in-app advertising that keeps the app free.
2. Information we do **not** collect
Ludo Champs does not collect, transmit, or store, on any
server:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or physical address
- Photos, contacts, calendar, files, or location
- Payment or financial information (the app has no purchases)
- Any form of account credentials — there is no sign-in of
any kind Player names entered for local pass-and-play, and per-seat game
settings, are stored **only on your device** (see §4) and are never
transmitted anywhere.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Ludo Champs shows banner and interstitial ads served by
**Google AdMob** to support free play. To serve and measure ads, Google
AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect and process:
- Advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID)
- Device information (device model, OS version, language,
screen size)
- Approximate, IP-based location (not precise GPS location)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and general
engagement)
This processing is carried out by Google, not by the developer
directly, and is governed by [Google's Privacy
Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) and [How Google uses
information from sites or apps that use its services](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
Your consent choices
Where required by law (for example, users in the European
Economic
Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland under GDPR), Ludo
Champs
presents a consent form — built on Google's **User Messaging
Platform
(UMP)** — the first time you open the app, before any
personalized ad
is requested. You can change your choice at any time from
**Settings → Privacy Options**.
If you are in a region without a legal consent requirement,
ads may
still be shown; Google's own policies determine whether they
are
personalized based on your device and account-level ad
settings, which
you control directly in your Google Account or device
settings (for
example, **Settings → Privacy → Ads** on Android, where you
can opt
out of ad personalization or reset your advertising ID).
---
4. Information stored on your device only
The app stores the following locally, using Android's standard
app
storage (`shared_preferences`) — none of it is transmitted
anywhere:
- **Settings**: sound/music on-off and volume, theme
(light/dark/system),
whether the daily reminder is enabled
- **Local match statistics**: matches played, wins, current
streak, best
streak, fastest win — used only to show your own
"Best" stats on the
Leaderboard screen
- **Player names** you type in for local pass-and-play seats
Uninstalling the app deletes all of this data, since it never
leaves
your device in the first place.
---
5. Notifications
If you turn on the optional "Daily play reminder"
in Settings, the app
schedules a **local, on-device notification** using
`flutter_local_notifications`. No notification content,
schedule, or
token is ever sent to any server — this is not push
notification
infrastructure, it is a plain on-device timer. Turning the
toggle off
cancels it immediately. Notification permission is requested
only when
you turn this toggle on, never on first launch.
---
6. Permissions this app requests, and why
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| `INTERNET` | Required to fetch and display ads via Google
AdMob |
| `POST_NOTIFICATIONS` | Required on Android 13+ to show the
optional daily reminder notification you opted into |
The app does **not** request access to your camera,
microphone,
contacts, location, storage, phone state, or calendar, and
does not
request `SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` — the daily reminder uses an
inexact,
battery-friendly schedule instead.
---
7. Children's privacy
Ludo Champs is not directed at children under the age of 13
(or the
equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and the
developer does
not knowingly collect personal information from children. If
you
believe a child has provided personal information through
this app,
contact us at abgroupapps@gmail.com and it will be addressed.
Advertising served through Google AdMob on this app is not
configured
for child-directed treatment.
---
8. Data retention and deletion
Because no gameplay or personal data is ever transmitted to
or stored
on a server operated by the developer, there is no
server-side data to
retain or delete. All locally stored data (§4) can be erased
at any
time by clearing the app's storage in Android's App Info
screen, or by
uninstalling the app.
---
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data
protection
laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California)
regarding
information collected by third parties such as Google AdMob
on the
app's behalf, including the right to access, correct, delete,
or
object to processing of that information, and the right to
opt out of
the sale/sharing of personal information for targeted
advertising.
Because that processing is performed by Google, these rights
are
primarily exercised through:
- The in-app consent/Privacy Options control described in §3
- Your device's ad settings (**Settings → Privacy → Ads**)
- [Google's own privacy
controls](https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy)
---
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time — for example,
if a new
feature changes what data is processed. Material changes will
be
reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above
and, where
appropriate, a note within the app. Continued use of the app
after a
change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
